It’s been confirmed that the French ski resort of Val d’Isere has installed complimentary Wi-Fi across the mountain, meaning that communicating with your friends and family while on the slopes is easier than ever.
In a move that makes the resort even more cyber friendly, the fact that the Wi-Fi is also free of charge means that people can share images and connect to the internet without worrying about the usual charges associated with data usage abroad.
This isn’t the only benefit that mountain users can enjoy during their solo ski holidays in the region, as the new digital bus service is now making travelling across the resort easier than ever. Launched at the start of the season, its main focus is to ensure skiers and snowboarders spend as little time travelling as possible – providing more time to explore the mountain.
If you are looking forward to exploring the fine pistes of Val d’Isere in the coming months, be sure to bring your phone and take advantage of the new Wi-Fi services.
